Nrityadiksha, founded by Smt. Priya Venkataraman in 1992 as "Kalakriti" in Illinois, is dedicated to offering exceptional training in both Bharatanatyam and Kathak. With a mission to preserve and promote these classical dance forms, Priya began teaching children in Delhi and Gurugram in 2003, and has since expanded the school’s reach to students in India and the United States.

The focus at Nrityadiksha is to provide high-quality, personalized instruction in both Bharatanatyam and Kathak. The school’s experienced instructors, many of whom are trained in respected institutions, nurture each student’s growth with individual attention and guidance. Nrityadiksha has hosted renowned Bharatanatyam Gurus such as Smt. Bragha Bessell and Shri A. Lakshmanaswamy for workshops, enhancing the learning experience. In addition to Bharatanatyam, Kathak classes are offered to those interested in learning this graceful North Indian classical dance.
